Homefigure Original Canvas Painting

Homefigure Original Canvas Painting

$7,000.00

58” x 52” Multimedia (Acrylic, Watercolor, Marker, Ink, Collage) painting from 2017. I would sell this to you without it being on the wooden canvas (meaning this would be rolled up in a tube and sent to you).

This was the first image I did that addressed the concept of a “Homefigure” robot. This is eventually what spiralled into playing with the concepts of Aliens within the Canvas. Rather than detail it from my perspective though, I’ll tell the story of this image as best as I can here:

There is a large greenhouse that is now being used as a fashion runway station. There is a babysitter who is a bounty hunter from space who is a gardener in her freetime. She wears a fencing mask as a protective mask and she uses her spray bottle as a gun. The aliens all over space want to see her walk on the runway, but they also want to get rid of her, because she is a bounty hunter that always wants to get rid of them. All of the aliens are disguised as humans and they find themselves participating earnestly in the modeling contest. There is a blue person who is someone that is aware of the whole situation, but they cannot talk, so they always have to have comics written on their back. The normal human audience that is watching this is a bit special. They all come from the head of someone who constantly wears a mask so no one knows how they look. The sudoku is there because this whole thing’s just a little puzzle. Not to mention, I, Cam, am a big fan of the shape of arabic numerals.
